CALM Caretakers

IMPORTANT NOTICE...

CALM Caretakers were very hospitable and we had a long chat with them. They were both very helpful, letting us know where the best camp grounds are, what to watch out for and telling us where the best spots were to visit at the point.  They could not stress enough the importance of deflating tyres, somewhere in the vicinity of 24 to 26 psi, depending on the size and weight of the vehicle. ONLY 4WD vehicles passed the homestead. The track is not too bad at the moment and if EVERYONE follows this rule of deflating tyres, the track will be in good condition for years to come. So do the right thing and air down a tad before heading up to Point Peron, please?
