Details: Balingup here we come. As most of you know Balingup is one of McGyver favourite destination. I have not made a decision whether to camp at Wrights bridge camp site all the other one near Balingup. My understanding Wrights bridge camp site has been reopened, I will make an effort to visit that site before making a decision. You are most welcome to join us on Friday as this is when will be going down or on Saturday at the departure time. I will most probably be running at least one night nav, for those that have been on a McGyver night navigation can testify it is never boring.(Smile). At this time of the year there is a possibility there will be still heaps of mud so please come prepared with all your mud tyre (if you have a set), all your recovery gear as it can get very slippery out there.

Rating:**
Details: You're gonna have to ask the boss for Friday off, but it'll be worth it. A quick stop at the new and improved Bindoon Bakehouse and then fuel stop at Carnamah. A campfire at Koolanooka Springs on the Friday night then experience the wonder of Kadji Kadji in bloom on a Saturday 4WD run. An easy trek with a chance to pick over some historical relics and enjoy what is (normally) a wildflower wonderland. Friday night campfire and Saturday tour with a leisurely drive home Sunday (although we can make it a little more interesting if you are game with your trailers/vans in tow?) Camper trailers and off-road caravans OK for this trip. Quiet, friendly dogs OK, but there is the usual bait risk! Expect the unexpected - pretty much goes without saying.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can visitors (non-members) come along on these club trips? Members of West Coast 4x4 can invite visitors to attend any 4WD trip, except where visitors are excluded from the trip, by a comment (in the details like "members only" or "no visitors"). Also, the number of trips that you can attend as a visitor is limited, and to continue attending trips you will need to become a member (see below). Note: Visitors are not permitted on "Serious" (six star) trips.
How do I become a member of West Coast 4x4? You must first attend some trips as a visitor, before you are eligible to join. Once eligible, the committee then decides if you will be accepted as a member. See the Join West Coast 4x4 page for full details.
Who is permitted to lead a trip? Any member of West Coast 4x4 can lead a trip, providing that they have the support of a Track Marshal. All trips are only sanctioned by West Coast 4x4 when a trips leader is assigned to a trip and the trip is documented on this page. Please email a Track Marshal for more information.
Is there recovery equipment for members to borrow? Yes. The club owns a range of recovery equipment. Track Marshals can borrow any or all of the equipment for any trip provided it is not already booked out. Members are responsible for breakages of equipment unless caused by normal wear and tear.
