Details: Due to minimum participants on the January Trip I thought I would give a bit more notice and do it again in March. Camp over in the Wilbinga area.Bring your fishing gear,sleeping gear and a few drinks.More than likely camp in Laz's spot just south of Guilderton behind the dunes. Note changed to Saturday afternon start to allow more time to fish.Be home lunch time Sunday for those who wish to camp over. Please bring a few plastic bags and gloves as we will collect a bit of public rubbish (glass in particular) on the way home

Details: This trip is a continuation north of Fish's Murchison Station trip. The plan is to explore Steep Point and suroundings via North West Coastal Hwy for a couple of days (bring yr fishing gear & bathers), then on the way back detour and visit Francoise Peron National Park and Shark Bay Marine Park. You will need to be fully self sufficiant for several days (water, food, fuel, spares & specialty liquids for you and your 4x4). Tents or off road trailers only as some tracks might be very thight, soft and sandy:-)

Details: First night stop @ Karalee, then onto the Great Central Hwy. I'd like to visit The Olgas, Ayers Rock, Kings Canyon, Palm Valley, West Macdonnel Nat Park, Simpson Gap, Ruby Gap & Glenn Annie Gorge … hopefully:-), then back via the GC Hwy. Travel light with tent or off road trailer please and be fully self sufficient with 2 spare wheels, all spares'n liquds for you & yr 4x4. Probably 50/50 Bush vs Caravan Parks and we do need permits to travel along the GC Hwy! More info to follow.

Details: Drive to Broome in 2 days. Then a stopover to recover for a couple of nights to see the sights and to resupply. Then onto Halls Creek to top up supplies again. Then head down the CSR for the next 14 days to Wiluna. Then make our way back to Perth. Campertrailers only as this will be mostly sand driving and Tents or swags only please.

Details: Looking for expressions of interest for a Kimberlies trip. Likely to be a 3 week long trip with Broome, Gibb River Road and the Bungle Bungles being the main areas to visit. Very much only in the planning stage at the moment so plenty of scope to fit in with any other requirements. Is planned for the July school holidays, but likely leaving a week early so we can fit it all in.

Details: After a great 2011 Xmas at Peaceful Bay, we have booked 10 sites together (so we do not have to be spread out like this year). Deposits are not required till about March. No real fixed plans, just plenty of time at the beach, perhaps a winery or two and probably some day trips to Broke Inlet, Windy Harbour or perhaps even Calcup Hill via Summertime Track. Great place to bring the kayaks, snorkeling and fishing gear.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can visitors (non-members) come along on these club trips? Members of West Coast 4x4 can invite visitors to attend any 4WD trip, except where visitors are excluded from the trip, by a comment (in the details like "members only" or "no visitors"). Also, the number of trips that you can attend as a visitor is limited, and to continue attending trips you will need to become a member (see below). Note: Visitors are not permitted on "Serious" (six star) trips.
How do I become a member of West Coast 4x4? You must first attend some trips as a visitor, before you are eligible to join. Once eligible, the committee then decides if you will be accepted as a member. See the Join West Coast 4x4 page for full details.
Who is permitted to lead a trip? Any member of West Coast 4x4 can lead a trip, providing that they have the support of a Track Marshal. All trips are only sanctioned by West Coast 4x4 when a trips leader is assigned to a trip and the trip is documented on this page. Please email a Track Marshal for more information.
Is there recovery equipment for members to borrow? Yes. The club owns a range of recovery equipment. Track Marshals can borrow any or all of the equipment for any trip provided it is not already booked out. Members are responsible for breakages of equipment unless caused by normal wear and tear.
